The food tables and tent area early in the afternoon.
Community Day this year was largely a Kids-centric event. Larry and Tonya couldn't make it, and so we didn't have the fire truck, and there were fewer organized games...
So the children brought their bikes, scooters and parents, and just enjoyed freestyle!.
And they improvised. My utility wagon was commandeered for fun duty.
Thanks Todd for coming through with the MoonBouce again this year.
This photo is a bit over-exposured, but tells the story of the day: Beautiful weather, children hard at play, lots of good food, and neighbors getting together to talk face to face.
At one point I tried to get the parents to dance. No luck with that, but we got lots of smiles out of folks.
Lewis asked me to take a photo of his plate... Shortly after taking this picture,I put the camera down to start on my second plate.

The weather was awesome, as were the pot luck contribution. A huge thanks goes out to all who helped out.
The value of a street closure hardly goes missing to our children!
